You receive your items directly to the address you state in the order. It is shipped by Posten (Swedish State Company) and a single freight cost is added to your order, no matter how many items you buy.
Every Original Swedish Plate is handmade after receiving your order. We produce the name plates in the priority we receive the orders and due to the high popularity and the individual hand made production, it takes normally a week until we have produced your name plate. As soon as your items are produced, you will get an e-mail notice that your parcel is on its way.

There are several different ways of paying your purchase:
1. Credit card
Pay with VISA, MasterCard, Eurocard and American Express. We have contracts with Euroline (SEB) for credit card payments and your payment is protected by SSL (Secure Socket Layer), which is the most recognized technology to protect credit card information on Internet.
2. Payment in advance
When you choose Payment in Advance you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail and after that you can pay the entire amount to our account in the Swedish bank SEB.
Please note your order number on the payment. When we receive the payment we will produce the items and ship them to you.
If you are at present in Sweden, it is easier pay to our bank account (bank giro) 5489-1023.
This payment option is available only for our customers and deliveries inside Sweden. You will, together with the delivery, get an invoice which you pay within 14 days. Additional Invoicing charge of 40 SEK is added.

This is a Swedish web shop and therefore Swedish law applies to all trade and business here.
When you place an order at Swedish Plate AB we confirm it by e-mail. This procedure constitutes a contract and the e-mail is also your receipt. By purchasing from Swedish Plate AB you agree to be bound by our terms and conditions.
2. Inspection of goods on receipt
All goods must be inspected on receipt. Any damage in transit, faults or missing contents must be reported to us by email within 48 hours of delivery. After this time we will not be able to accept any claims.
3. Cancellation rights / Acceptance of goods
You will inspect the products within a reasonable time after they have been received by you. You will be deemed to have accepted the goods unless you notify us under your right to cancel the order (below) within seven working days of receipt or you notify us as per out terms and conditions that the item is damaged or faulty on receipt. If you do not take this action within the time that we have outlined then we will consider the products being as fit for their purpose, of satisfactory quality and as being as described. We will not accept any rejection or cancellation at a later date.
Under the distance selling regulations you have a cooling off period of seven working days to enable you to examine the goods supplied. During that time you may cancel the order in writing via email to us. If you do wish to cancel your order the goods must be returned in full, including any accessories, unused and in all of the original packaging, in a re-saleable condition, and within 14 days from notifying us. You must take reasonable care of the goods. We will not deem that you have taken reasonable care of the goods if they have been used in any way. Should you decide to return the item to us you will be responsible for the return postage charge and the postage charges that we have incurred in sending the item/s out to you. Once the goods have been returned to us and checked to ensure that they are complete, un-used and fully resalable, we will refund you within seven days minus the postage costs incurred in sending out the parcel to you and possible returning it to us.
4. Exceptions to the right to cancel
An order cannot be cancelled on these terms if you have used the goods in any way. The right to exchange or return items does not apply for items that are manufactured according to your design, e.g. Name Plates and Photo Plates.
5. Faulty items at the point of sale
We do of course compensate defective products in fully. If any item of your order is defect or differs from your order, we ask you to report it to us immediately and within seven days after the reception date. Send us a short note by e-mail, including information about the defective item and your order number. When we receive your complaint we will give you instructions how to proceed with it.
All our policies are put up in order with the Consumer Purchases Act, an act protecting the private consumers' rights.
